Nicholas Novi is an operatic tenor, and a classical-crossover singer with a beautiful warm, enigmatic voice. He performs across a spectrum of operatic arias, popular Broadway songs as well as American classics. He won the Best Singer of the Year Award at the 2013 International Presentation of Performers in Los Angeles for his moving performance of Bring Him Home from Les Miserables in July 2013.
Having been professionally trained in bel canto vocal technique and acting, graduate of the Los Angeles Film School, as well as John Robert Powell Acting and Modeling Academy, Nicholas has performed in Europe and US in various concerts and functions. He performs in English, Italian, French, Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, German, Spanish, and other languages. His wide range gives him an ability to have an extensive and diverse song list – from opera love songs like the Mozart’s Magic Flute, Bizet’s Carmen, Donizetti’s Elixir of Love, to Broadway musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Les Miserables, Notre Dame de Paris, and of course to such American Classics as Unforgettable, Tennessee Waltz, Moon River, What a Wonderful World, and many more.
Currently he has ongoing engagements with Royal Orchestra in Warsaw, Poland, as well as at different cultural events both in Europe and the States. And recently, thousands of people watched his performance during the 3rd World Wicker and Weaving Festival in Nowy Tomysl, Poland. After performing in Poland’s oldest Catholic Church, he received great praise from the Head of the Polish Catholic Church, Archbishop Joseph Kowalczyk, who presented him with a memorable gift and told him that “for 1000 of years of the Cathedral’s existence, its walls hadn’t heard a more beautiful voice!”
